Though in a grumpy mood following several days of crappy weather in Scotland, I was determined to photograph Eilean Donan Castle in the West Highlands. As I was getting my camera and tripod set up, the rain lifted, the clouds slightly parted, and I was blessed with a beautiful rainbow over this striking view. Just very lucky to be in the right place at the right time, and maybe a bit of perseverance.
