From Venice, you will need to take a long vaporetto ride to the island of Lido. Make your way to the bus station and take the number 1 bus, and ride it all the way down to the southern tip of the island. From there, the bus will drive onto a ferry, which will convey you to the island of Pellestrina. Continue to ride the bus until you come to a small fishing village at the southern end of the island. Walk, look, experience. A working fishing village that takes you back to a simpler way of life, and a dream for photographers like me.
